BPWA
DescriptionThe BPWA has solidified its position as a local leader in leveraging key partnerships to create and implement highly successful projects aimed at increasing Jordanian women’s employability and economic participation rates. These include the “Call Center”, "From Home", "Young Women’s Leadership and Empowerment Training Series”, “Creating Sustainable Modules to Empower Young Women Entrepreneurs: How to Start Your Own Business" as well as the new UNIDO six country consortium project “Women economic empowerment in the MENA Region through Enterprise Creation and Growth and Investment Promotion”.
Now, and in response to the latest research on the topic and to our members' feedback, the BPWA relaunched in 2015 with a stronger focus on young female SME owners in Jordan’s fast growth sectors and competitive industries. This support takes the form of sector-specific networking, targeted long term mentorship, business management training and business support services that our members’ businesses vitally need to grow and thrive. The BPWA is also creating a co-working space at the Association for drop-in freelancers and “no-office” business owners who need to utilize our space to work.
